Clear expectations, both ways.

These policies are here so we both know exactly what to expect. They keep my schedule fair and your appointment protected.

Booking

Booking, rescheduling, and cancellations all happen online through GlossGenius — no phone tag or DMs needed.

  • You can book up to 3 hours before your desired appointment time.
  • You can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before your appointment, with no fee (deposit forfeit applies — see below).
  • A card on file is required to confirm any booking.

Deposits

New clients are asked for a small deposit at booking. The deposit goes toward your service total at checkout.

  • Services $0–$25 → No deposit
  • Services $26–$49 → $10 deposit
  • Services $50+ → $20 deposit

Deposits are forfeited on cancellations made inside the 24-hour window or for no-shows.

Cancellation

To respect the time reserved for all guests:

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours ahead: free, deposit refunded.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours: a 50% service charge will be applied to the card on file.

No-Show

A no-show is charged 75% of the scheduled service total to the card on file. Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in restrictions on future bookings.

Late Arrival

Things happen — a few minutes won't be a problem. But:

  • 15+ minutes late: the appointment will need to be rescheduled and your deposit is forfeited.
  • Late arrivals may result in a modified service to avoid delaying other clients.

Refunds

Due to the nature of beauty services, refunds are not offered on completed services. If you're unsatisfied with your service, please reach out within 48 hours so we can discuss a possible adjustment or correction if appropriate.

Intake Forms

All new clients fill out a quick intake form after booking. If you haven't been in for over a year, you'll be asked to fill it out again so your skin info stays current.

Contraindications — please review before booking

Waxing isn't safe for every skin or every situation. Reviewing this list keeps you safe and protects your skin from lifting, tearing, or burning.

For any face waxing service:

  • Stop retin-A, tretinoin, adapalene, and other strong exfoliants or acne medications at least one week before your appointment to avoid skin lifting and irritation.

Accutane:

  • Anyone currently on Accutane cannot be waxed — skin thinning from the medication is too dangerous.
  • The same applies for anyone who has been on Accutane in the last 6–12 months.

For all waxing — please reschedule if you have:

  • Sunburn, irritated, broken, or inflamed skin in the treatment area
  • Active rashes, eczema, psoriasis flare-ups, or wounded skin in the treatment area
  • Current skin infections or contagious conditions
  • Recent use of antibiotics or steroids that may increase skin sensitivity

For brow staining — please reschedule if you have:

  • Known allergies to hair dye or tinting products
  • Sensitive or broken skin around the brows
  • Eye infections or irritation
  • Recent brow lamination without proper healing time

Brow lamination may not be suitable if you have:

  • Extremely sensitive skin
  • Active eczema, psoriasis, cuts, or irritation near the brows
  • Recent permanent makeup in the brow area
  • Recent chemical peels or exfoliation around the brows
  • Allergies to hair dyes, perming solutions, or adhesives
  • Recent eye surgery or eye infections

If you're unsure whether a service is safe for you, please contact me before booking. I'd rather help you reschedule than risk your skin.

Appointment Reminders

You'll get automatic reminders by text and email — once right after you book, and once 24 hours before your appointment. Each one will include the cancellation policy so nothing about the charges is a surprise.
